Foundation

Omashram Trust – Old Age Care was founded as a charitable trust in 2001 with the objective of providing care and succour to the elderly. It began with a mission to offer residential care with full boarding, lodging, nutritious food, medical assistance, and nursing care to senior citizens above 60 years, mainly from poor and middle-class backgrounds of all denominations.

Early Years of Struggle

The journey was marked by days of struggle and considerable odds to keep the fledgling institution afloat. Despite limited resources, the Trust remained determined to serve the elderly with compassion and dignity.

Growth & Service

Over the years, Omashram has travelled a long way and addressed the needs of countless parents. Its residential care model has provided a safe and nurturing environment for seniors who had nowhere else to go.

Commitment to Benevolence

The challenges became the strength of Omashram Trust. Guided by benevolence and compassion, the Trust continues its good work, providing not just shelter but dignity, care, and love “In the Evening of Their Lives.”
